Since 2023, Luke has been contributing to industrial software projects. Unfortunately, due to privacy and security restrictions, many details cannot be disclosed. Nevertheless, there are some contribution descriptions provided below.
For the Smart Gondola system, a dedicated software module was developed to communicate with the PLC, enabling real-time status monitoring and visualization within the web-based user interface.
The client aimed to minimize machine downtime and enable remote service access for their customers. The primary challenge was establishing a secure and reliable connection between the machines and the company’s office. This was accomplished through the integration of external hardware within the machines and software updates to the PLCs.
The solution is now implemented in all newly manufactured machines, with the supporting web application hosted on an internal server at the client’s facility.
